Mallard’s Croft | AMAZING Venue Just Outside Memphis!

Mallard’s Croft is an ideal choice for couples looking for a unique and beautiful wedding venue that combines rustic charm with elegant and sophisticated touches.

The venue also provides an idyllic setting for hunting, family getaways, and other events that would like to use the farmhouse and cottage for their activities. Their focus on reclaimed materials and personalized service make it a venue that provides memories that last forever.

Stunning Ceremony Location:

Mallard’s Croft is a stunning wedding venue located a few miles south of Collierville, Tennessee.

The 600-acre farm is owned by Tom and Lucy Green, who purchased the property in 2013 with the goal of renovating it into an event center for weddings and parties.

A Gem in The Woods:

All the images in this article are taken from this wedding film:

One of the first projects undertaken by the Greens was the renovation of a ramshackle barn into an elegant event space. Using reclaimed and recycled materials from old buildings, Tom, a professional in the reclaiming and reusing of materials for decades, was able to breathe new life into the space and create a unique and beautiful venue for weddings and other special events. The barn held its first wedding in January 2014.

A Variety of Locations:

In addition to the barn, the Greens also created a small cottage near the barn, which serves as a dressing room for brides and their bridesmaids and is available for overnight stays.

They also have a 7 bedroom / 5 bath Farmhouse on the property, which can be rented for board meetings, family reunions, or weekend getaways when events are not scheduled in the barn.

Another feature of Mallards Croft is the duck preserve, known as Mallard Limit, which was added in 2014. The preserve is built on low-lying lakes and cypress trees and features 3 duck blinds that can accommodate up to 18 hunters per morning. The preserve releases more than 4,000 ducks in May, ensuring that the ducks are flying wild by October 1. They also plant and maintain a variety of different crops and grasses to hold the ducks throughout the year.

Conclusion:

Mallards Croft is truly a family business, with the Green’s three college-aged daughters playing an active role in its operations. Mallory coordinates bookings for duck hunts, while Clay Younts prepares the morning and evening feasts.
